Announcement

In furtherance to President Goodluck Jonathan's Transformation Agenda, which is focused on attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) into this critical sector of the Nigerian Economy, the Hon. Minister of Aviation, Princess Stella A. Oduah will be leading a high level Nigerian delegation to key US cities, namely Washington DC and New York to engage the United States Private Sector for possible Investment in Nigeria's Aviation Sector.

The Hon. Minister and her delegation would:

1. Present the transformation roadmap of the Aviation Sector of Nigeria,
2. Show case the investment opportunities and potentials of the Industry, and
3. Secure US investors in areas of needed investments such as:

-          Agro-allied cargo operations

-          Reconstruction and updating of facilities in some major Nigerian Airports

-          Development of Aerotropolis in four Nigeria International Airports

-          Any other investment initiatives
