***Call for Presentation Proposals - NIDO 2003 Convention***

Dear Friends and Colleagues:

As many of you know, NIDO Americas will be hosting a convention in Atlanta, Georgia (USA) from October 17th-18th that will focus on dialogue with Nigerian stakeholders on a range of economic and national development issues. This convention will include forum presentations from expert and skilled Nigerian professionals abroad.

Due to the high volume of correspondences we have received from Nigerian professionals interested in presenting their ideas and perspectives on one of the panels, we have added a new feature to the NIDO website which will allow you to electronically submit paper and presentation proposals for consideration by the Convention planning committee.

You can now access this automated proposal submission page on the NIDO website at http://www.nidoamericas.org/nido_presentation.htm. This new protocol will allow us to more effectively collect, track, and screen submissions for the various thematic panels. If your paper or presentation is selected by the committee, we will provide you with detailed information prior to the convention. SUBMISSION DUE DATE: Friday, October 10, 2003.
