NIGERIAN YOUTH ASSOCIATION OF MARYLAND COLLECT RELIEF MATERIALS FOR FLOOD VICTIMS IN PLATEAU STATE

            Floods recently swept through many parts of Plateau State, Nigeria, where losses were recorded both in human lives and property. In response, to this disaster, the Nigerian Youth Association of Maryland (a group of well meaning and development-minded Nigerian Youths resident in Maryland) is putting together an assistance package, in aid of the victims.

            In this regard therefore, and in addition to the much that the Association has been able to come up with, the Nigerian Youth Association in Maryland is appealing to Nigerians resident in the United States, especially those in the DC Metro area, Maryland and Virginia, for a generous donation of relief materials. These could be shoes, clothing, bedding materials, basic essentials and non-perishable foods. Sponsorship has already been secured for the shipment of the expected donated materials.
