Vice President to Arrive in US for Two Day Visit
The Vice President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar arrives Washington, D.C. today, Tuesday June 24, 2003 on a two-day official visit. The Vice President is here to attend the U.S.-Africa Business Summit, organized by the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA).
The Summit will focus on trade relations between the United States and Africa and will discuss extensively pertinent issues such as the Importance of African Economic Communities to U.S.-Africa Trade Relations; US Government Policy Priorities Towards Africa and the Future of US-Africa Relations. There will also be a special workshop on LNG in Nigeria.
Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will depart Washington, D.C. on Thursday June 26, 2003.
