Command and Staff College Delegation Visits United States

A nine member senior officers delegation of the Command and Staff College (CSC) of Nigeria led by its Commandant, Air Vice Marshal A.O. Ogundana was recently in the United States.

The delegation all directing staff and chief instructors of Nigeria's premier military institution visited similar institutions in Kansas and Rhode Island to explore areas of co-operation.

Receiving the delegation, Nigeria's Ambassador to the United States Professor Jibril Aminu expressed happiness that the Nigerian military is being professionalised to assume its proper and traditional role of defending the territorial integrity of the country. He stressed the importance of Nigeria securing training facilities abroad for her military personnel to familiarize them, with global development in modern warfare.
