Nigeria Hosts Business and Investment Forum in Washington
The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission is hosting a one-day Business and Investment Forum at Omni Shoreham Hotel 2500 Calvery Street, NW, Washington, D.C. on May 1, 2002 beginning from 9:00 a.m.
The forum will be addressed by Nigeria's Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, Nigeria's Ambassador to the United States, Professor Jirbril Aminu, his American counterpart, Ambassador Howard Jeter, Director - U.S. Trade and Development Agency, Thema J. Askey, and Chief Kola Daisi, Executive Chairman, Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission.
Business and Investment Practitioners from Nigeria and America will present papers to cover key areas of "The Nigerian Investment Climate" such as Monetary Policy, Capital Market and Real Sector.
The forum will also feature break-out sessions for agriculture, oil and gas, solid minerals, manufacturing, services, power and telecommunications.
Representatives of both the electronic and print media are hereby invited to cover the events.
