First Conference of Water-related Diseases to Hold in Nigeria
The First International Scientific Conference on Water-Related Diseases,
will be hosted by the Federal Government of Nigeria, in Abuja Nigeria
from April 4 to 11, 2003. The venue is the Nicon-Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
(2) The conference which will witness an assemblage of scientists,
engineers, health-care professionals, pharmaceutical companies,
water-pumping manufacturers and suppliers, will examine the most current
research work, new technologies and treatment modalities aimed at finding
workable and sustainable solutions to global water problems.
(3) The international conference, which is being organized by Global
Council on Water Diseases Incorporation in collaboration with Howard
University, Division of Allied Health Services has the support of the
World Health Organisation and other relevant agencies of the United
Nations such as UNICEF, UNDP and the World Bank.
